We Accept Insurance

  • While other providers may make this same claim, it is important to know if they actually participate in your insurance network.
  • NeuroMed participates in most networks and makes every effort to let you know if we don’t.
  • This is important distinction from other providers, who may not notify you and can bill you the remaining balance for the procedure.

Dr. Daniel Barton

Experienced Physicians

Our physician team is led by Dr. Daniel Barton who was one of the earliest adopters of TMS services.

A University of Tennessee graduate and Harvard trained physician, Dr. Barton is a board certified psychiatrist in adult and child psychiatry.

He has successfully treated a range of conditions with TMS in his private practice and serves as the Medical Director for the NeuroMed TMS Centers.

How to Get Started

  • STEP 1

    When you call for your free consultation, we will ask a couple of basic questions and gather demographic and insurance information.  We will schedule an appointment at your convenience.  We will ask that you bring a list of all prior treatments and medications and note any side effects associated with each.  We will gather a detailed history of your condition and determine if TMS is right for you.  We ask that you bring a loved one with you so that they can understand your options and assist with providing history.  You will also have an opportunity to see the device and understand exactly what the TMS treatment process will involve.

  • STEP 2

    After your free initial consultation, we will seek prior authorization from your insurance and verify coverage. You will be informed of all associated costs in advance of any treatments.  We will discuss all payment options and we have financing plans available.  Even without insurance coverage, our financing plans start at $150 per month.  One all arrangements have been made, you will meet with our physician who will assure that this the best medical intervention for you and review your information gathered at the initial consultation.

  • STEP 3

    Once all medical and financial arrangements are finalized, often the same day that you meet with the physician, we will start your TMS treatments.  You will set a time of day that is convenient for you. You will return 5 days a week until your treatment is complete, usually 4-6 weeks based on the nature of your symptoms.

    We promise to make the entire process as comfortable and straight forward as possible.
